Monday Minute on January 11th

Turn the Radio on . . .

I spend quite a bit of time listening to music, podcasts, radio shows, and sermons.  I don’t have enough time or space to share everything, but this Monday I’m going to share a few of my favorite podcasts!  Check back in the future for some of my favorite sermons, children radio programs, and more. 🙂

  • The Alisa Childers Podcast

I actually didn’t discover Alisa Childers and her podcast until about 2 months ago when I watched the documentary American Gospel: Christ Crucified for the first time.  If you haven’t heard of this documentary you can find more information *HERE.  I was struck by Alisa’s story of coming out of the Progressive Christian movement.  I was mostly unaware of this movement until recently, and have learned so much from listening to her podcast.  Check it out as soon as you have time!  She has great information and a biblical perspective on the false gospels that surround the church.

  • Wretched Radio with Todd Friel

With the way news goes these days, I have a hard time finding news about the evangelical community.  Todd Friel has given Christians a resource for good news about our church community, while also offering up summaries of the bad news and what our response should be.  In general, this is just a fabulous podcast!  Todd Friel definitely tends towards the black-and-white side of Christianity (he falls in the John MacArthur camp, really), but don’t let that scare you away.  I personally enjoy his way of presenting truth.  He also has several small parts to his program that are interesting to hear, for instance he has brief explanations of the names of God, and Witness Wednesday goes through some of his evangelism adventures.  Look him up, and let me know what you think!

  • The Matt Walsh Show

I am a Matt Walsh fan-girl . . . it may or may not be directly linked to his fantabulous use of sarcasm.  Matt Walsh works with The Daily Wire to produce his show, and is a Catholic-Christian conservative who presents news objectively and truthfully.  Truly, the draw with Walsh’s show is his ability to think clearly and practically.  The best thing about him is that he goes through much of the BLM, Antifa, and Leftist mess and deconstructs it to the bare bones to find the truth.  Once he shares the truth of each situation, he often deals with how we as Christians should be dealing with the issue.

Until Next Week

That’s all for today!  If you take a listen to any of these podcasts, let me know in the comments below!  I’d love to hear what you think about these, and I’d also love to hear if you have any podcast favorites to share.
