Music in the Air
I don’t know about you, but I have a soundtrack for just about every mood, season, emotion, etc. I’ve got so many playlists on my YouTube I sometimes worry they might take away my ability to save any more music! Since spring is officially here (and already on its way out the door in southwest Kansas), I thought I’d share some of my favorite soundtracks and songs for spring.
- A Golden Childhood – Cinderella (2015) by Patrick Doyle
- Devonshire – Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Patrick Doyle
- My Father’s Favorite – Sense and Sensibility (1995) by Patrick Doyle
- Spring – Little Women (1994) by Thomas Newman
- Dawn – Pride and Prejudice (2005) by Jean Yves Thibaudet
- Georgiana – Pride and Prejudice (2005) by Jean Yves Thibaudet
- Legend Has It / Cliffside Playtime – How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019) by John Powell
- Ometape Patterns – Rowan Hudson’s Passing Ships (2019) by Rowan Hudson (not a soundtrack)
- We Could Go Home – The Hunger Games (2012) by James Newton Howard
- Just Friends – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by James Newton Howard
- Door in the Air – The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) by Harry Gregson Williams
- Opening Titles – The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by David Arnold
And there you have it! My first list of songs for a specific day. Just so you know . . . I am so loving this idea for a blog post that I have 6 other “Soundtracks for . . .” blogs going right now. I’m in love with music, and I can’t get over how fun this new outlet is with sharing my favorite songs!
I hope you will enjoy these 12 pieces for warm spring days! Oh and here’s a little surprise for you: you can find me on Spotify! I’ve got playlists going up and you can find them HERE. These 12 songs are on a playlist called “Spring Days” and you can listen by clicking the link I just gave or searching for Meg’s Book Query. You can also click on each of the individual songs listed above and it will take you to a YouTube video of the song.
Enjoy your Thursday and go read a book (with some music in the background, of course!) 🙂
